Join us for an explosion of making at Dunwich — working experimentally across cyanotype, mono-printing, painting, photography, drawing, scanning and digital stencil making, to set your creative voice free. Set in the wild and ancient landscape of Suffolk's coast, this two-day intensive is built for open minds, bold makers, and anyone ready to surprise themselves. Over two days, you'll explore how analogue and digital processes speak to each other, guided by two artists and passionate art educators and an exciting variety of techniques. Experimental and productive — expect an explosion of artwork, a surge of creative confidence, and a rich portfolio of work that shows you exactly what you're capable of. The studio is attached to Dunwich Museum and you can work inside and outside, you can be on the beach and surroundings for inspiration as well as full access to the museum. No fixed aesthetic. No right answer. Just you, the materials, and two days of pure creative freedom. Come ready to make. Leave transformed.

Lisa Henshall

A painter, printmaker, and digital installation artist, Lisa studied Fine Art at Loughborough University before studying Art Education at Cambridge. Cornish by birth and rooted in rural East Anglia, she has been teaching art at all levels since 1998.

Her practice weaves together the analogue and the digital, the intuitive and the rigorous — bringing warmth, depth and creative provocation to everything she teaches. Lisa shows regularly internationally; New York, Austin, Boston, Dublin, Amsterdam, Brussels and London.

Dom Theobald

A painter, etcher, photographer, printmaker, digital artist and filmmaker, Dom studied at Norwich School of Art, completed his MA at the Slade School of Fine Art, and later returned to Norwich to pursue a further MA in Moving Image and Sound. He has exhibited internationally across the USA, Japan, Europe and the UK, and has been teaching art at all levels since 1992.

Based in rural East Anglia, Dom brings a lifelong passion and one unshakeable belief to everything he teaches: that everyone is an artist.
